Slumdog Patronizing Sham of a Social Justice Movie

Indian professor accuses Boyle's film of gross misrepresentation and exploitation. She asserts that Dharavi (the featured slum) is not a wasteland, but teems with dynamism and creativity - with annual small business revenue between $50-$100 million, much from arts like embroidery & pottery.

Dharavi is also endangered by redevelopment schemes.
